Conversation course for beginners and advanced beginners!

You know some words of French, but do not dare to pronounce them or to make sentences?

Come learn how we can still enter into conversation with little knowledge and how to expand!

Standard courses

We offer short or long term standard courses, for those who wish to express themselves in French, writing or speaking, with more ease for professional or personal reasons.

·         French with a textbook: you will practice the 4 skills such as listening, reading, speaking and writing. Based on the 6 levels of the CECRL, this course offers a flexible and adapted progression to everyone.

·         Conversation course: students are encouraged to express themselves as much as possible in order to gain confidence in speech situations. Audiovisual and written material (short videos, magazine articles, literary extracts…).

Tests here below will help you to choose which course is best for you. It will give you an indication about your listening and reading skills.

Private courses

French as a general or professional language, get ready for DELF B2 or DALF examinations.
Courses can be organized at your office, by Teams or Skype or at the premises of Institut français for one person or more.

After a level and an orientation test on the phone or at our premises, courses will be organized according to the goals and needs of each person or group. The length, number of lessons, course content, group size, level and learning schedule are planned together before the beginning of the course.

French language course and/or French cultural training:
– familiarization with French or French-speaking countries economic eco-system
– legal and administrative vocabulary
– learn how to identify your interlocutors and better approach them (in English for beginners)
– development of oral expression for smoother communication in working life

Are you planning to take the DELF B2 or the DALF certification exam and not feeling quite ready? Institut français offers intensive preparation courses during the month preceding the exam. Private lessons or courses for small groups to prepare for DELF written and oral units and to take the exam, stress-free!

This 4-week-course is intended for those who are busy and do not have much time for learning. You can develop listening comprehension and verbal expression and know more about France today. Join and have fun!  Small groups (4-8 participants).

Literary circle

The teacher and the group will make a selection of books from classical or contemporary literature. The teacher also highlights the biographical, stylistic and theoretical aspects of the works chosen. Reading is also an opportunity for discussion and inspires you to get acquainted with the cinematographic adaptations. Three or four books are studied per semester.
