After Paris, Milan and London, they are finally in Helsinki! From 16th to 24th of February 2017, Jean-Louis Sauvat’s famous horses can be admired at the French Embassy in Helsinki.

Jean-Louis Sauvat (b. 1947) is a renowned French artist who has two passions in life: painting and horses. These two passions meet in his sculptures, paintings and jewelry which will be displayed in the exhibition at the French Ambassador’s residence, specially open to the public for this event. Besides an imposing sculpture placed in front of the building, dozens of pieces will be on display inside the residence, ranging from large paintings to cashmere scarves specially designed for Hermès.

The works of Jean-Louis Sauvat are brought to Finland by the gallery Akoya in cooperation with the French Institute of Finland.

The exhibition is open to the public from 16th to 17th of February, and from 20th to 24th of February, from 2pm to 5pm at Itäinen Puistotie 13.
