European Film Weeks is a free event organized annually by the European Commission Representation in Finland and the European Parliament Information Office in Finland in partnership with the embassies and cultural institutes of the EU countries. This year, the programme features 25 inspiring films from all around Europe.

France is represented by Tour de France, a road-movie that follows the journey of two unlikely allies: Serge (Gérard Depardieu), a grumpy middle-aged ex- bricklayer and Far’Hook (Sadek), a talented young rapper. The film will be screened in cooperation with the Institut français on Thursday April 20th at 7pm.

All European Film Weeks screenings are free of charge and take place at Eurooppasali (Malminkatu 16, Helsinki) that seats a hundred spectators. Tickets are distributed in the Eurooppasali entrance hall one hour before each performance begins. The films are subtitled in English.
