Temppeliaukion kirkko the Church under the rock

France classical music prodigies in one of Helsinki’s dearest venue!

To celebrate the Francophonia Festival, the French Institute invites the Sibelius Academy and the Francophonia Orchestra to Helsinki’s Rock Church:

On the 8th of March a symphony orchestra consisting of students from the Sibelius Academy and various other institutions will perform pieces of French composers M. Ravel and C. Debussy as well as the prestigious Piano Concerto No. 1 by J. Brahms. The Francophonia Orchestra is composed of international musicians gathered from around the world, who are either studying in major music schools or already at the start of their careers.

Coming from France, Belgium, Israel, and other countries specially for the Francophonia Concert in Finland, musicians promote and share their instrumental and orchestral traditions, musical culture, and experiences through the collective music-making.

Free entrance. Reservation: https://www.eventbrite.fr/e/billets-grand-concert-de-la-francophonie-42785898775
