Music and literature, songs and poetry… these art forms have been intertwined for a long time.
This month of October, dedicated to literature, the French institute invites French Singer Bearín for an intimate acoustical concert during which she will sing a selection of French songs either written or inspired by poetry and literature.

Bearín (aka Claire Bichet) sings classics as well as hidden gems of French chanson. Trained as a lyrical singer, Bearín puts her voice at the chore of her performances and strums gently the ukulele while singing. She has been living in Helsinki for three years and teaches French language. She has been a member of Maailma-kuoro (the World Choir) and now sings in a Celtic ensemble.
