To celebrate the centenary of Finnish independence, I suggest you to come and read some Finnish literature translated into French. We have several translations from Finnish, Swedish, and even Sámi. And if you have not read it yet, I highly recommend having a look at the Kalevala, the Finnish national epic poem.

Discover the adventures of Väinämöinen, Ilmarinen and Kullervo, the heroes of Finnish mythology, in the magnificent translation by Gabriel Rebourcet, who made a huge effort to convey the beauty of the poetry into French.
