Helena Petäistö, former foreign correspondent (France) of the MTV channel and author of “France, Marcon and I”, will be our guest at the first soirée littéraire of 2018! The event will be organized on Tuesday 6th February at 5.30 pm at the French Institute (Yrjönkatu 36). The presentation will be followed by a cocktail and the audience will have a possibility for a book signing* and a meet and greet session with the author herself.
Helena Petäistö is one of the most well-known foreign correspondent and journalist in Finland. She has followed the French politics and culture as a correspondent for the MTV channel in Paris and in other main capitals of the Europe for more than 30 years. She is the author of many popular culture and travel oriented books about France and Europe among others Ranskalaiset korot (1995), Aamiainen Cocon kanssa ja muita elämyksiä Euroopassa (1999), Aamiainen Cocon kanssa: Pariisissa, Strasbourgissa ja Lyonissa (2001), Tee teematka (2008), Nizza, Cannes, Biarritz à la Helena Petäistö (2013) and Pariisi, Versailles, Giverny à la Helena Petäistö (2014).
The event will be held in Finnish.
