Daniel Pennac’s new book Mon frère is a story of his big brother who died prematurely 10 years ago. Pennac has published over 30 books, including novels for both adults and children, comic-books, picture-books and essays. Many of these have been translated into more than 30 languages. In 2007 he received the Prix Renaudot for his essay Chagrin d’école and in 1990, La petite marchande de prose was named one of the best novels of the year by Le Figaro, and Pennac won the Prix Inter. We have all these books in the library of French institute.
