Former Minister of Environment and COP21 President, Arctic and Antarctic Ambassador Ségolène Royal is participating this week in the Arctic Spirit Conference organized by the University of Lapland and the City of Rovaniemi, which is part of the official events of the Finnish Chairmanship of the Arctic Council.

After the event, Ms Royal will visit the Arctic Research Center of the Finnish Meteorological Institute and the University Observatory in Sodankylä and then visit the Sámi Parliament in Inari to better understand Lapland’s history and culture.
