This page brings together a collection of ready-to-use teaching resources designed to help French teachers extend the experience in the classroom and maximise its impact long after the events have taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking activities, creative materials, discussion prompts, language games, collaborative tasks, and cultural exercises: each resource has been designed to be flexible, engaging, and easy to use, regardless of learners\u2019 proficiency levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun Grammar Workshop<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop includes a selection of learning techniques and classroom-tested activities, such as identifying learning obstacles and overcoming them through playful methods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is to help students use their existing skills to understand how grammar is applied in context and to remember grammatical structures through concrete examples. The workshop also provides additional materials and resources to help make your lessons more engaging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction to Gender-Neutral Language<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This educational resource aims to provide theoretical tools for understanding gender and number distinctions in the French language, particularly through the use of pronouns and agreement rules. It includes practical examples and also addresses differences related to the use of the subjunctive, as well as certain specific cases, such as proximity agreement<\/strong>, in order to facilitate students\u2019 learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course also includes an introduction to the evolution of language through inclusive writing<\/strong> and to the concept of a gender-neutral pronoun<\/strong>, which is already present in the Finnish language. As a reminder, a gender-neutral pronoun was officially introduced in Sweden in 2015, and its use has been gradually developing in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French-Language Sports Teaching Resource<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within DNL teaching<\/strong> (teaching a subject through a foreign language<\/strong>, in this case French), we suggest developing four main language skills with your students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listening comprehension (CO)<\/strong> involves understanding information provided through instructions or spoken contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading comprehension (CE)<\/strong> is the students\u2019 ability to understand written texts or documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oral production (PO)<\/strong> corresponds to the ability to express oneself in the target language by presenting, describing or arguing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written production (PE)<\/strong> corresponds to the ability to write summaries or descriptions using the vocabulary specific to the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These four skills complement one another and enable students to use the subject as a genuine tool for language learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
