Our aim is to value the teaching profession, support you in bringing your ideas to life and sharing them, and to foster connections and exchanges among French teachers throughout Finland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teachers who submit a project must agree, if selected as one of the five grant recipients, to present their project at the French Institute of Finland (Tehtaankatu 27\u201329 D) during the event on T<strong>hursday, November 26, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 6:20 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GOALS OF THE PROJET<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teachers can propose a project involving their students, aimed at improving their language skills, promoting the French language or culture, increasing awareness of the Francophone world, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project can be something already completed or an upcoming initiative \u2014 such as a language trip \u2014 and may take many forms: a presentation, report, display, exhibition, mini-performance, classroom activity, Francophone-themed evening, etc. There are no limits to your creativity! To be eligible, the project must be carried out with your class.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your project should aim to promote the French language within your school and share your passion for it with as many people as possible. It does not need to be fully developed in order to be submitted. A project that is still in the planning stage may be proposed, as long as it is described in sufficient detail.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EVALUATION CRITERIA<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The educational and\/or cultural value for the students involved&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The promotion of the French language and\/or the Francophone world&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The clarity and precision of the project description&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The originality of the project&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The proposal will be rejected if&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#a81900\"><strong>X&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The application is submitted after the deadline of October 30, 2026&nbsp;<br>X&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The application is not well detailed (name, project description)&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PAYMENT METHOD<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fund of \u20ac1,500 will be evenly distributed among the 5 selected projects (\u20ac300 each) by our selection committee, whose members belong to the Cooperation and Cultural Action Department of the French Embassy in Finland and the French Institute of Finland. The payment will be made to the teacher\u2019s institution account. The project combined French language learning, cultural education and hands-on learning. The students designed, wrote and tested the recipes in the school\u2019s teaching kitchen, before compiling them into a Finnish-French recipe book.
