Si Proche Si Loin & Collective Intelligence

A collaboration between a Finnish and a French artists collective:
The gallery Myymälä2 has invited the artists from Si Proche / Si Loin to a creation residency in Helsinki in the beginning of December 2022.
During their stay they will be working together with Collective Intelligence and present some of their works in an exhibition at the French institute from the 8^th till the 14^th od December.

8.12. Vernissage and Performances:

This exhibition in the Institute’s premises by the participants of the project from 8 to 14 December, will feature a face-to-face between the works of the participants of the two collectives.

Alan Bulfin, Marjatta Oja, Irina Mutt and Veera Kuusisto & Alva Strang will exhibit with the artists from France.

Performances:

Reading – performance Je traverse la frontière by Gilles Bingisser during the presentation.

Reading in Finnish of Rajalla, a poem by Uuno Kailas, a Finnish poet of the interwar period. “Read without knowing the language. Use the words to rewrite another poem. Read it. »
