DELF PRIM / JUNIOR (for children or teenagers)

The Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) is an official diploma delivered by the French Ministry of National Education with a lifetime validity.

Description of the tasks and sample papers:

DELF Prim and DELF Junior assess the skills in the four fields of language learning described in the Common European Framework for Languages: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

The themes and tasks of these versions of the exam are suitable for children and teenagers, but rely on a communicative approach, just like the DELF Tout public: the language level tested is the same, regardless of the version of the exam.

The DELF PRIM is suitable for children aged 6 to 9 and assesses levels A1.1, A1, A2.

The DELF Junior is suitable for children and teenagers aged 10 to 18 and assesses levels A1, A2, B1, B2.
