On the eve of the European Researchers’ Night, on September 25, 2025, the French Institute of Finland invites you to a fun and engaging evening of discovery, made of quizzes, mini-talks, and live demos to discover the remarkable work of French scientists based in Finland.
From northern lights to polar ice and rising seas, from quantum optics to molecular engineering and genomics, to climate justice and cultural studies — everything is presented in short, clear formats, accessible to both fluent French speakers and learners.
Throughout the evening, you’ll meet French researchers who are advancing science and working hand in hand with their Finnish colleagues to shape solutions to the major scientific and technological challenges facing the European Union.
On the program: a quiz on research in France, mini-conferences, an open stage for research in Finland, and interactive demos.
The full program will be soon available HERE.
Yes, science speaks French — even in Finland!
