After the warm reception of our summer film series Summer Lights, we’re continuing our collaboration with Cinema Orion through a brand-new event series: French Film of the Month!
Each month, a French film — from new releases to timeless classics — will be showcased in the cozy setting of Cinema Orion. This event series provides a great opportunity to (re)discover the French cinema in all its variety on the big screen.
To launch the series, we invite you on a journey into a unique universe with René Laloux’s animated film Time Masters (Les Maîtres du temps, 1982).
Synopsis: On the planet Perdide, in the depths of space, little Piel is pursued by a swarm of hornets who killed his father. Piel finds himself alone but Jaffar, aboard his spaceship, rushes to save him. From the ship, he will guide little Piel with the help of two extra-terrestrial clowns, Jad and Yula. He will confront the masters of time. An amazing time paradox, of an old space runner who, madly, tries to save the little boy he once was.
