room

To celebrate the Francophonie Month 2026, the French Institute of Finland invites you on March 28 to a fun and engaging afternoon of discovery, made of quizzes, mini-talks, and live demos to discover the remarkable work of Francophone scientists based in Finland.

From underwater robots to precision medicine, from landscape perception as a prelude to architectural projects to intercultural and film studies, everything is presented in short, clear, and accessible formats, designed for both French speakers and learners of French.

Throughout the afternoon, you will discover how scientists from Francophone countries are advancing research and, together with their Finnish colleagues, shaping solutions to major scientific and technological challenges.

On the program: short talks, an open stage highlighting research in Finland, and interactive demos.

Research also speaks French in Finland — see you at our science festival!

As part of the festival, the Institute also wishes to highlight the arrival, on February 14, of French astronaut  Sophie Adenot at the International Space Station. An exhibition will showcase her career as well as the Epsilon mission.

Free entry upon reservation. You can find the detailed program (in French) here.
