For artists and cultural professionals
- Supporting your artistic project: funding programs from the French Institute in Paris
With its various grants and programs, the French Institute in Paris supports artists, institutions, and cultural professionals who wish to promote French culture abroad through their projects. You can find all the available funding schemes and application periods on this page. - Our residency programs
- SEPTENTRIONALES : Research and exploration residency across the Nordic countries for artists based in France. Application period: February – March.
- GUARDING THE BALTIC SEA : Residency program dedicated to the protection of the Baltic Sea, open to artists from Finland, Estonia, Poland, Germany, and France. This program is supported by the European network of national cultural institutes and organizations, EUNIC.
- Project calls from Finnish Cultural Foundations
As a French cultural professional, you may also apply to international open calls from Finnish cultural foundations to carry out your project or artistic residency in Finland. To learn more about their priority areas and obtain further information about these grants, please contact the foundations directly.

- PhD Cotutelle Magnus Ehrnrooth
Scholarship allowing students to begin or continue a doctoral thesis between France and Finland in mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, and medicinal chemistry. Application period: October–November. Click here to view the most recent call. - France-Nokia Chaire d’Excellence
