Finn’Est 2027 Exchange Programme

Finn’Est is a secondary school mobility initiative between the Reims Academy (France) and Finland. This exchange programme enables young people from Finland and France to experience linguistic, cultural and academic immersion. Each Finnish secondary school student is hosted at their French counterpart’s school, where they attend lessons alongside them and share the daily life of their host family. Based on the principle of reciprocity, the French student is then hosted in turn for two weeks by the family and school of their Finnish counterpart.

Finn’Est 2027 Dates

• 13 February 2027 to 27 February 2027: for two weeks, the Finnish students will stay in the Reims area.
• 10 April 2027 to 24 April 2027: for two weeks, the French students will be hosted in Finland.

Eligibility criteria

• Students in Years 9, 10, 11 or 12 (aged between 15 and 18);
• Minimum language level: A1 in French / A2 in English;
• Open-minded, independent and responsible attitude.

How to apply?

The application process is handled by the teachers responsible for the programme at each institution. The instructions below are therefore intended for teachers:

1. Download the documents required for students’ applications:
   • The school consent form to be signed by the headteacher;
   • The parental consent form to be signed by the family.

3. Please submit the signed parental consent form and school agreement by 13 November 2026 to mobilite@france.fi

Timeline for the call for applications

• 16 September 2026: opening of the call for applications;
• 13 November 2026: deadline for submitting applications;
• 26 November 2026: announcement of results.
