Night of the Arts: Mestaritalo Cultural Courtyard
Languages, music, films, and much more – during the Night of the Arts, the courtyard of Mestaritalo in Punavuori transforms into an urban cultural celebration!
On the Night of the Arts on 20 August, the French Institute and Goethe-Institut Finnland alongside other actors of Mestaritalo will co-organise a unique Cultural Courtyard at Tehtaankatu 27–29!
This urban celebration allows you to enjoy French and German languages, live DJ sets, short films, poetry, and many other cultural experiences offered by the building’s resident organisations. In addition to the courtyard programme, visitors can explore the organisers’ own spaces, hosting a wide range of activities throughout the evening.
Formerly known as the Fazer factory, Mestaritalo provides a unique setting for an urban city festival, with its many cultural actors and large industrial-style courtyards.
The event is free of charge. The Mestaritalo Cultural Courtyard will also serve as the opening event for the new premises of Goethe-Institut Finnland.
