All across France, Epiphany is celebrated by sharing a galette des rois (Kings’ Cake). In this spirit, the French institute of Finland invites you to an evening dedicated to this tradition, where you can learn about its origins and taste exceptional galettes!
You’ll learn all about this French tradition and, above all, enjoy tasting the famous frangipane galette during a relaxed and convivial evening. As tradition has it, the person who finds the hidden fève – a little porcelain figurine hidden in the cake – will be crowned king or queen of the event!
The ticket price is €15 per person (+ ticket platform fees) and includes two slices of cake per participant. The language of the event is French, with possibility to use English as a second language if needed. Bring your friends and come (re)discover this French tradition!
The regsitration closes on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Event tickets are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation or rescheduling. Please note the arrival instructions to the Institute at the bottom of this page.
