Autumn of Languages: discover our trainings for French teachers!
Three VESO-accredited workshops to recharge your language teaching!
Have you already heard about the Autumn of Languages?
Created by the French Institute of Finland and the Goethe-Institut Finnland, the Autumn of Languages offers a rich programme of events throughout the autumn, designed for both French and German teachers as well as learners of these two languages.
The project aims to provide opportunities to practise French and German outside the classroom, bring together language teaching professionals, and place culture at the heart of language learning.
As part of the project, the French Institute of Finland is offering a range of events, including themed cafés, and three full days of training designed specifically for French teachers in Finland. These trainings allow you to discover new approaches to teaching, exchange ideas with colleagues, and explore, around different themes, practices you can apply directly in your classroom.
Teacher trainings for real-life teaching situations
On November 4, “The Classroom as a Multilingual Space” will invite participants to reflect on the role of the different languages present in their classrooms. The day, suited also for German teachers, will alternate between discussion, hands-on workshops, and the creation of teaching materials.
On September 30, the training “French Current Affairs in the French Classroom” will explore how to use the news as a learning tool.
On October 21, “Let’s dare to speak to French!” will look at the possibilities of theater in language teaching.
VESO Accreditation: You can participate in these trainings as part of your institution’s VESO day.
