Visual Arts Workshop: Patterns and Collages
Create your own patterns and collages in these free workshops led by French designer Jérémy Gaudibert!
This autumn, we invite you to discover our the Institute and explore the French language through visual arts, in the company of French designer Jérémy Gaudibert from design studio JaM!
These workshops are suitable for both adults and children and will explore two different themes:
- Collages (September 19, 3PM – 4PM): Create artworks on cardboard using paper scraps. For this session, we invite you to draw inspiration from Roger Caillois’ “figured stones”.
- Patterns (October 3, 3PM – 4PM): Discover a playful and creative approach to drawing and painting, inspired by music. Experiment with a few simple gestures, then adapt your creations to different formats to make your own greeting cards, wrapping paper and other personalised creations. Materials: paint or markers (TBC).
Practical Information
- Languages: French / English, depending on your preferences and needs
- Age: suitable for all ages (children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Price: free entry upon registration
NB: If you are attending with one or more children under 10, please register each participant separately using the same email address (the accompanying adult’s email address).
