The seminar, organized by the University of Jyväskylä in partnership with the French Institute of Finland, will bring together Finnish and French experts on high performance sport.

Keynote speaker Mr. Gaël Guilhem, Laboratory Director at the French Institute of Sport (INSEP), will present his research in biomechanics, and its ability to help coaches make decisions to optimize athletic performance and prevent injuries.

Finnish perspectives on this issue and scientific research supporting athlete performance more generally will complete the programme, which will bring together the leading Finnish representatives of high-performance sport.

This Franco-Finnish event will help strengthen bilateral relations and highlight innovative approaches that may ultimately pave the way for new collaborations.
